The short version. We collect what you type into our contact form so we can reply to you. We don't run analytics, we don't set tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your information for marketing.

Who this covers

Sarecta designs, builds and hosts websites for local businesses. This policy coverssarecta.com only. The websites we build for our customers are theirs, and are covered by those businesses' own policies.

What we collect

What you send us. When you fill in the contact form we receive your name, business name, email address, phone number, what you chose from the dropdown, and anything you write in the message box. Everything except the message is required — we ask for both an email address and a phone number so we can reach you whichever way suits you.

What arrives automatically. Our host, Cloudflare, handles your connection in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse, which involves processing your IP address. The notification email we receive includes the approximate city or country the message came from, taken from that connection. We use it to recognise obvious spam, not to identify you.

The spam check. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from bots. Turnstile receives your IP address and some technical information about your browser, and may store a token in your browser so it can remember you have already passed a check.

What we do with it

We use what you send to reply to you, to build a demo site if that is what you asked for, and to keep a record of the conversation. That is the whole of it. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not build a profile on you, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. The only exception is the spam check described above, which may store a token in your browser for security purposes.

Who else sees your information

Cloudflare hosts this site, delivers the notification email, and runs the spam check. They handle that data on our behalf.
Stripe processes payment if you subscribe. You enter card details on Stripe's own pages, never on ours — we do not see or store them.

That is the complete list. No advertisers, no data brokers, no analytics companies.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our email. We keep them while we are talking with you and afterwards for our own records. If you would like yours deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Your choices

Contact us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will do that because it is a reasonable thing to ask, whether or not a particular law requires it of us. If you are covered by a law that grants you those rights — GDPR, the CCPA, or similar — those rights apply and we will honour them.

Children

This site is aimed at business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

Your form submission travels over an encrypted connection and arrives in our email. We keep our accounts protected, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise otherwise. Please do not send us anything sensitive — payment details, account numbers, identification — through the contact form.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
